While I can see why the OP might want to downgrade, this is the price of a coffee. Why worry?
I guess by simply opting out of iCloud Storage. If I'm not mistaken, up to 5GB storage is free. When you exceed that you have to pay.
The h--- do they do over there? Charge for the bean, processing, transportation, water, cow and sugar? Here in Canada, it'll run me at least maybe $2.00. But for some places, the difference in size is maybe 10 to 25 cents extra.
For me, I pay $4.51 a month (tax included, $3.99 Canadian, and let us not forget that the sun never sets on the British Empire, since Canada was a former British Colony) for 200GB of space. More than enough for all my stuff.
In GBP or Euros? Lol.
🙂
When I wrote this, One British Pound was $1.80 Canadian at the rate of exchange. I'm paying almost double for coffee? I'm sure there's tax too. Holy (insert word here).
No offense. I did laugh at the underline though.
But back to the original question $1.49 USD is like Kool-Aid. Pennies a glass, a month.
No offence taken - but it appears to me that you are paying around HALF as much as we do for YOUR coffee!
This is what my subscription costs:-
| iCloud: 50 GB Storage Plan Monthly | 24 Apr 2018 |
iCloud Storage | £0.79 |
Great value from Apple .....IMO. 🙂

Why? Don't think you'll need it? Believe me, you'll need it.
Coffee here in the UK costs more than twice as much! 😉

It has always been GBP in the UK - never Euros!
