How to download a folder in the files app in iOS 11

Is there a way to download a folder (and all of the files in that folder) to a local device in iOS 11 (using the Files app)? There seems to be no way to download multiple files at once - and the steps required to download a single file are absurd. I must be missing something - but I can't find anything on how to do this. Ideally I'd just like my files to automatically download - or at least, selective files/folders.
