MacBook Pro with touchbar not automatically booting up when you open lid

up until a couple of days ago my MacBook Pro was booting up when the lid opened but suddenly its now stopped doing this, I’ve upgraded to High Sierra and still no difference. Anybody else have this problem or know how to possibly rectify this.

Please try these resets if you have not already.

1. Reset NVRAM/PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761

2. Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.

3. Start up in Safe Mode. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Once in Safe Mode, click the “Restart” button at the bottom.
