Why I cannot get repair service in Korea
Hi,
I'm Korean and I'm living in Korea.
I bought iphone X (256)for my son in Hong Kong last December.
Unfortunately, he got accident and his screen was broken(just crack, but still can use all)
I called service center in Korea to get help where I can get service, but their answer was quite shocked.
They said that this model is not allowed to be get service in Korea. They said that only way is that I should go other countries where the service is available such as Japan, China, Hongkong, Thailand US etc.
I was quite surprized how can Apple have this kind of poor service policy.
I asked whether I can visit service center and asked them to check the part to be repaired, so that they can import the needed part for me and whether I can get repair in Korea.
But they said they cannot do this for me.
I asked whether I give my phone and get repair by sending my phone to other countries where the service is available.
But they said they cannot do that.
The only way is that I should to go other countries to get repair by myself
I totally cannot accept this and cannot understand how Apple can have this kind of BAD service mind or policy in Korea. I wonder they have same service policy or they have different service policy country by contry.
I'm still wonder should I go to other countries to get repair. I need to get clear answer from Apple HQ.
