Is it just me or every other iPhone 8 users are facing this problem?

I’m currently on iOS 11.3 and I have also previously written a post like this. Right now, I’m facing my iPhone a bit slow and laggy ( sometimes ) and one of the most annouying part is that it’s been only 4 months since I bought this phone and the health beta shows my iPhone 99% effective. Where did the 1% go all of a sudden. I’m so disappointed with this new iPhone. This is my first ever iPhone and I’m facing unexpected restarts, animation lags and glitches and the phone slows sometime and the most annoying is the iPhone getting laggy af in the app switcher. What am I suppose to do. Should I wait for iOS 12 to fix up all these problems bcos I don’t think there will be any good in iOS 11 further updates, I even have a iPhone X and it sometimes get a little bit of lag. Should I be worried? I have even resorted my phone once with old data and once with new data. But it makes no difference.

I have been told that this problem might be arising due to corrupted data transferd from old iPhone / backup. Can this be a problem?

You said that you restored the phone to factory stated and it didn't resolve the issue. That would suggest that your problem is not a corrupt back up. How long did you test it for before adding back apps or data?

Have any of you tried a hard reset of your iPhone 8 by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons until your iPhone goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

How much free data storage space is left on your iPhone?

iDevices need to maintain, at least, 3 GBs, OR GREATER, of free data storage space.

In Settings App, Battery, check to see if any apps/processes are eating up your battery.

In Settings app, General settings panel, turn OFF Background App Refresh for any apps you feel do not need constant data updating/Internet updating in the background when not using the an app OR turn OFF Background App Refresh entirely/globally for the entire device.

In Settings app, under General settings, Reset panel, at the right bottom of the list, Reset All Settings.

In Settings app (NOT from the iOS Control Panel) turn OFF Bluetooth when not using any Bluetooth devices.

Also, in general, if you want a faster IDevice, on all of my iDevices, I turn off most of the iOS motion graphics eye candy, by simply turning ON Reduce Motion in Settings app, General, Accessibilty settings.

Make sure you aren't running scads and scads of background apps in the iOS 11 Control Panel/App Switcher.

If you are, you need to quit the bulk of these background running apps by tap and hold a finger on an app window in the switcher and slide your finger upwards to quit an app. You should be able to use more than one finger to quit more than one app window simultaneously.

Also, make sure you don’t have scads and scads of active website tabs running in the web browser.

If you do, greatly reduce the amount of active website tabs your web browser.

Some minority of user have been turning ON and leaving ON iCloud backups continuously backing up on a constant and daily basis.

If you are one of these users, turn off iCloud backup and only turn this on to do daily backups either when you are not using your iPhone for a prolonged period of time (like when you are sleeping), then turn iCloud backups OFF when actually using your iPhone.

OR

only perform your backups on a lesser time schedule.( like twice a week, once a week, once every two weeks, once a month, etc.).

All of these tips listed apply to both iPhones and iPod Touches, as well.

Try all of these tips and leave each tip active together. Do not simply try every tip individually, expecting just one tip to be a performance “cure all”.

Many of these tips are designed to work together to improve overall iOS/iDevice performance.

Good Luck!

I did completely restore it but I had to restor the data back to the iPhone bcos all my work is saved in my data. I believe it must be a corrupted data problem, is it possible?

So, you didn't restore it to factory state; you restored it to your back up. Yes, it's possible that something is amiss with the back up. Restore the phone to factory state. Test it.
