Deleting text message prompt

Please help! I update to iOS 11.3 and now I get prompted if I want to delete a text message. I use to be able to just swipe and delete. How can I turn this off now? It’s so irritating.

Swipe right in messages driving me nuts In previous versions of iOS, the Messages app would let you swipe right to mark a message as read and swipe left to delete a message. In iOS 14, swiping right on a message just pins it. It’s driving me nuts. There must be a way to reset it?

disable manage text option when swipe on message? In IOS 12 is there a way to disable the “manage” option showing up when you swipe left on the home screen on a notification/text message? I just want “view” and “clear” like previous to this update.

There isn't currently an option to disable that. You may want to make the suggestion to Apple: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
