I listen to music on my Apple Watch regularly, I know how to add and remove music, etc. Yesterday in the middle of a song my apple watch stopped playing and has not been able to start playing again since. The same music works when I play it through the apple music app on my iphone. I press play and it looks like its going to play and then it just doesn't. Please help!! I use this feature daily and this is driving me nuts. Thanks!

I uninstalled the "watch app" from my phone and reinstalled it. My watch has been playing music flawlessly every day for over 2 weeks now!
NOTE: When uninstalling the watch app from your phone, you will have to unpair your watch first... so make sure it is backed up. Obviously, you'll have to re-pair your watch. Curious to know if this helps anyone else out.
This is obviously an issue. Why is this not being addressed on a larger scale?
Same problem here. Anyone with a fix? I don't have an Apple Store nearby.
I’ve also made sure to report this on the link above so Apple is aware just how many people this affects. It’s definitely a known issue and not some anomaly or user error.
They can't find the problem here in Europe and keep replacing mine, 3 so far... It is most assuredly an iOS issue...

I use Nike Run Club. It’s accurate and I like the stats it gives me (more than the Apple native app). I also tried MapMyRun and found it to be inaccurat).
Exactly, every time I go for a run and have to carry my phone I get angry again. What will it take for Apple to acknowledge the issue and address it?
First you would need to tell Apple it is happening.

Cool. I’ll update it tonight. The true test is after a couple of days even a week of usage. Hopefully the issue doesn’t persist. Fingers crossed 🏽
Just had my first post-update run and the problem seems to be resolved. Will have to give it some time though.
I tried this and unfortunately still having the same issues. Watch worked normal for a little more than 2 hours and now has stopped again.

I’ve been having this issue too lately and once or twice I have been able to get it to start working again but I usually had to refresh everything multiple times
