Screen Recording has no audio.

is anyone hacing trouble with the screen recording feature? I have an iphone X and since updating to ios 11.3, will not work. I’ve tried screen recording songs from my library on the phone and the microphone picks up the background but not the music I’m trying to record. . I restored the phone to factory settings and then from a previous back up to no avail.
