Music on Iphone X not syncing to itunes

I have just backed up my iphoneX for the first time to this computer. Now my purchased music is showing up on my itunes, but all the rest of my music that had been previously downloaded from my old phone and stuff from my Apple Music from the Telestra App are not showing. How do I fix this problem please?

iPhone X, iOS 11.3

Hi Quiltbutterfly,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I see that you've backed up your iPhone X to iTunes on your PC and purchased music has transferred but you don't see songs from Apple Music. I'm happy to help out with enabling Apple Music in iTunes.

It also sounds like you have an Apple Music membership through your mobile carrier, Telstra. If this is true, make sure to follow the steps I found on the Telstra site to link your Apple ID with your membership. The steps are under the " Link your Apple ID for the best music experience " section on Apple Music: All the ways you love music with Telstra .

After you have followed those steps, you can enable iCloud Music Library on your iPhone and in iTunes so that your music will be available on both devices: Turn on iCloud Music Library
Best Regards.
