Lightning Dock issue

Hello

i have been using my iPhone 7 Plus with my lighting dock for a few years now. Recently the audio output does not seem to work. the charging aspect of the dock works flawlessl. I cleared out a little bit of fuzz of the lighting input on my phone. Connection seems to be tight. Have switched out speakers and cables. Nothing seems to be working. Anyone have this problem?
