I have 2 iPhones with different phone numbers however both ring when one is called and see messages on both. How do I turn this off. Thank you.

If you want to keep other things in sync such as iCloud, and contacts, you can turn off Calls on other devices, and Message forwarding on each device. Though the Call Log, and iMessages will continue to be shared.

Settings->Phone->Calls on other Devices, turn of the other iPhone from each iPhone.

Settings->Messages->Text Message forwarding

Otherwise, best bet is to stop using the same Apple ID on both devices. If you don't want them to be having the same calls and messages.

You are sharing the same Apple ID, which is why this happens. Many will tell you not to do this, but I'd be lying if I told you that as we share the same Apple ID as well.

Go to Settings on both phones and Phone > Turn Calls on Other Devices off.

For Messages: Settings > Messages > Send & Receive uncheck the other number on both phones. Also make sure the other devices are turned off in Text Message Forwarding.

To stop them both from ringing: Settings>Phone>Calls on Other Devices>Allow Calls from Other Devices and turn it off.

To stop seeing the same messages on both, stop sharing an Apple ID. They are designed for only one user.
