Ethernet has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the Internet. 2018
Mac mini (Late 2012)
macOS High Sierra - 10.13.5 Beta (17F35e)
AirPort Time Capsule
Help please -
Noticed that the 'flashy light' on my Ethernet Switch was solid, yesterday.
Looked at network settings -
'Ethernet has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the Internet'.
Tried 'I think' everything I could get by Googling. New Location. Renew Lease. Power Cycle everything connected to ADSL. etc..
I did manage to get it into a state where it was connected but no IP Address, but couldn't figure out how to give it one (?).
Wi-Fi working fine on and off the Mac.
Ideas? Help? Please!
Thanks
