How do I fix keyboard damage from a water spill?

I spilled a little bit of water on my MacBook Air 2014. Now my z key won't work, and my fn key is held down (not physically). z also gets stuck down sometimes. I have Windows bootcamp, and the fn key works on the mac version, but not the Windows, but on the mac, none of the shortcuts including command work. I tried taking off the keys and blowing them. The spill happened while I was on Windows mode. The spill happened about a week ago. Is there any way that I can possibly fix my computer for free and by myself?

MacBook Air, Windows 10, Also running Sierra

Replacing the keyboard in a Macbook Air is one **** of a job. You have to remove pretty much everything from the laptop, then literally tear it out of the machine, then use pliers to remove the rivets before you have to screw the new one in, be careful not to overtighten the screws. I do these repairs at work and can do it with my eyes closed, but it's not something an average Mac user would do.

If you went to Apple they wouldn't do a job like that, but would replace the whole top case of the machine for around $500.
