Hacked by hacking app

Someone has installed an application on my phone that enables them to see all of my information remotely as if they have a second copy of my phone. From all of my applications to my text messages and my email. They can also see my browser history. This has all been proven to me with screenshots. How do I remove this "hidden app" or virus that's giving them this ability?

Are you sure they've installed an app? What you're describing could also be the result of your Apple ID being compromised.

No, there is no such app from the app store that will do that, it would violate every guideline Apple has. If they installed it outside of the app store then they also jailbroke your iPhone and all security bets are off.

You need to put your iPhone in DFU mode: https://www.imore.com/how-to-iphone-ipad-dfu-mode and then restore it as a NEW iPhone (not from your backup) in iTunes. Any jailbreak will be removed as well as all installed apps.
