virus alert from apple seems questionable

Twice I have received an e-mail allegedly from Apple Care indicating that my computer may be infected with a virus that will corrupt my computer if I don't buy Apple Care. I used malware bytes virus scan already in my apps and it found no virus.

Obvious scam for the reasons stated already. Note also that AppleCare is not software. Even if you bought a legitimate AppleCare package (which you would not do by clicking on that link), having Applecare would not change anything on your system. It is an extended warranty, nothing else.
