What’s the back sticky substance

There is a black sticky substance coming from my iPhone.7 plus. It comes out between where the screen and back panel meet. At first I thought it was just dirt but when I went to clean it it seemed to be coming from that seam. t isn’t there all of the time but I have noticed it 3-4 times.

It is something that shouldn't be coming out. Make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store.
