How do I get rid of a split screen in my gmail on Imac? I have 2 emails side by side. I don't know how that happened and I want to go back to one email alone.

Post a screenshot of what you're seeing. When I use the regular (non-Classic) mode this is what I get:
A list of emails on the left and the one I've selected on the right.
Are you using the Classic mode in Mail?
Are both of the email in the same window or they in separate widows, side-by-side?
What system are you running on your iMac?
I'm in what ever the default mode is. I didnt change anything.

I have 2 emails side by side. I don't want 2 side by side. I don't know how I got 2 side by side. I want to get rid of the second and only have one.
