CS6 on newest MacBook Pro

I currently have a 2012 era MacBook Pro that has CS6 installed on it and I’m wondering if I’d be able to install CS6 on a new MacBook Pro with touch bar if I buy an external SuperDrive. I really don’t want to do an Adobe Creative Cloud monthly subscription since I already own the previous version and it works wonderfully. I do still have my install disk from when I originally bought CS6 so that’s not an issue. Please help me determine if I’d be able to do this as I use the CS6 software for design work at my church which I do completely voluntarily.

If you have a basic broadband connection (5Mbps or higher) download the installer from Adobe, save you buying an optical drive you may only use once. Adobe CS 6 Downloads

If you need the Superdrive it is compatible with MacBook Pro Retina models, you will need a USB-C to ASB adaptor sold from stores that sell Apple products.

depending on your needs CS6 may or may not work, likely it will but in some instances not all functionality within all applications may behave as you would like.

Photoshop appears to be the most compatible, Illustrator and InDesign you may find issues, mostly with font display.

Adobe does not support it any longer, Apple never did; any problems will be yours alone to address.
