Can you restore iPhone to previous date?

My VSCO app had most of my pictures on it, and i had to restart it, unfortunately i didnt have it backed up. However, i have a full backup from before i deleted the app. how to i restore to that backup? and if so, will my pictures on vsco app be restored with it?
