The Anker 24W PowerDrive 2 Ports is an excellent product, quite fast, but not “fast charging”-fast.
For Apple-“fast charging” you need two things:
What do you think about this one
Anker 24W Dual USB Car Charger PowerDrive 2 + 3ft Micro USB to USB Cable Combo
The included $4 Micro USB cable is useless for iPhone. But it will work fine with your own USB Type A to Lightning Cable.
If I bought these as you advised me.
It will not damage my Iphone X battery if the future if I use it twice every week for example ?
Thank you
Thank you very much for these informations .

What do you advise me to buy as fast charging at home for my iphone X and ipad pro 9.7?
Thank you.

It will work, but not to its maximum potential. That charger gives 15W (5V×3.0A) max on the USB-C port, while the iPhone will grab up to 18W if it can, so a better charger would be 20% faster/better.

The Apple 29W USB‑C Power Adapter/61W/87W would be good for fast charging at home. The iPad Pro 9.7" does not support fast charging.
Anker has some 24W/30W USB-C (single port) wall chargers which could be a price-alternative to Apple’s power adapter. RAVPower’s wall chargers (travel chargers) with USB-C are limited to 15W max per port, so that’s not really good enough in my book. I’m surprised all the USB-C wall chargers are only single port.
Thank you for your repnse
Is there a difference between this one
https://www.anker.com/products/variant/usb-c-car-charger/A2229011
And belkin
https://www.apple.com/shop/product/HLRQ2ZM/A/belkin-usb-c-car-charger
Which one is better as fast charger ?
Thank you
I will keep it simple, and answer the question you asked rather than the one you didn't ask. Car chargers are OK, but they must be certified as "Made for iPhone". Belkin is a good brand and is sold directly by Apple: Power & Cables - iPhone Accessories - Apple
The issue with car chargers or even built-in USB ports, is often that they don’t put out enough current to charge at full speed. Look for chargers with 2.4 amps per USB Type A port.
If you have a Type C cable, then get a charger that also has a Type C connector. Some can do 45W, that’s impressive in my book.
With my original cable which is better ravpower or anker?
Either brand is reputable and an excellent choice. I have no favorite.
I want to buy this one
https://www.anker.com/products/variant/powerdrive-elite-2-ports-with-micro-usb-c able/A2213011
What do you think ?
That one seems only useful if you have a non-Apple device with Micro USB (e.g. LG, Nexus, HTC) almost always plugged in. For use with iPhones primarily, I think you would better pick a different one.
Or this one
https://www.anker.com/products/variant/powerdrive-speed-2-ports/A2228011
I am confused, which one is better ?
That one seems unnecessarily expensive, as it is not better than the other PowerDrive 2 Ports for primary use with iPhone X.
For iPhone 8/X, the difference between regular charging with at least a 12W charger and “fast charging” (18W or more) is 50% (12:18 ⇔ 100:150). E.g. you would get the same charge level for 45 minutes in 30 minutes, if you would use “fast charging” (YMMV). You will have to decide if that gain is worth anything extra to you. Still cool that it can do it, though.
You will not damage the battery for charging it; you are meant to do that. However, the life span of a battery can be expressed in (full) cycle counts, meaning excessive power use will shorten the life span: the phone battery of a gamer will not last as long as the phone battery of a user that mainly uses low energy apps.
It is not significantly harmful to leave the phone longer on the charger, or more frequently, or “fast charging” vs. slow charging. Even the “fast charging” is throttled down to regular charging automatically, when it reaches 80% charged, which I presume is for safety reasons, and to keep the battery healthy. It is also advised to not completely deplete the battery level to 0%; start re-charging a bit earlier.
Either go for the “fast charging” option with at least 18W on the USB-C (USB-PD) port option (and extra Lightning-to-USB-C cable), or don’t bother with “fast charging” and use the regular USB Type A port.
For USB-C, I would go with the RAVPower 45W car charger. (The Anker 54W has more ports, but is also more expensive.) (The RAVPower 24W 2 port USB-C + USB-A maxes out at 5V/3.0A on the USB-C port, giving only 15W, which is less than the 18W you should aim for.)
For USB-A, there are some options that include a Lightning cable. That might actually be handy, so you can leave the original iPhone cable at home. Again, it is up to you, if that fits your routine. You pay for it, but not as much as an extra cable from Apple would cost. The RAVPower with cable seems like a solid choice.
For USB-A without cable, i.m.o. the choice is Anker PowerDrive 24W Dual USB in black or white, or RAVPower 24W Dual USB in black, red or gold, or smallest RAVPower 24W Dual USB.
With these, you get 5V×2.4A=12W per port.
if I use a battery case for my iphone X, can I charge them with this usb c fast charger ?
That would depend on the battery case. I do not know how they are charged, or if there is any common standard to the most used models.
Thank you,
Can I use my original lightning cable to charge my iphone x with this car charger power IQ 2.0 port ( without usb c cable)?
Is it safe for my iphone X?
