GarageBand Orchestral Strings come in with a delay

(GarageBand Version 10.2.0)

These strings (both "Smart Strings" and "String Ensemble" (that you can find under: Sounds -> Orchestral -> Strings)) come in with a delay or perhaps some sort of "build-up" when used, so to speak. Meaning that if you want to use them at a certain count, they (the main sound of the strings) will come in a little bit later than said count.

Any way to remove the string sound building up and replace it with an instantaneous sound?

GarageBand pitch correction plug-in? In GarageBand, I used the Pitch Correction tool on four tracks of a song I made. Today I went back to the song to record another track, and when I went to add the pitch correction under plug-ins, there was no option for it. On the other tracks, it says that they still have pitch correction, but there's no way for me to adjust it. When I click on the plug-in, a pop-up appears, saying "This plug-in provides compatibility for certain patches and loops. The full version can be found in Logic Pro." Is this plug-in no longer available?

Mainstage3 and garageband I recently purchased MainStage 3 as I saw that it had a lot more instruments than the current version of Garageband, and saw plenty of videos showing how easy it was to pull in sounds from MainStage into garageband. I am on the most current version of garageband and I see no way of loading patches, there's no library I can search or add to in the instrument selection, and no option under sound library that seems to mean anything. Can anyone help me, or will this no longer work?

Playback latency from Logic's Studio Horns instrument. Im having an issue where there is latency during playback only. I have copied and pasted the same exact midi performance/region to other software instruments and they playback fine. Im using version 10.6.2
