I’m connecting to my iTunes library and unless I leave the window open I have to start the process all over again, is this correct? This process takes quite a long time.

Jeez...that could be updated, modified, brought into the 21st century, don’t you think? In fact, does it say anywhere in Apple’s documentation that the you have to leave the window open, or the process will have to be started all over from the beginning?

The window needs to be open but you click the amber button top left in the iTunes to move that window to the Dock. That will keep Home Sharing running.
Well, I’m connecting on my iPad.
Do I really have to sit here with the Home Sharing window open for it to connect?
