How can I find the owner of an iPhone by FCC ID or IC?

Is there a way to find the owner of an iPhone by FCC ID or IC? I want to give the phone back to him.

No, it is not possible. If the screen does not display any information about the owner, turn it in to the local police. You cannot find owner information, and Apple will not assist you with that for privacy reasons.

Keep it charged and powered on, if you can, to allow incoming calls from a secondary phone, or to allow Find My iPhone feature to work.

You can try asking Siri to whom the phone belongs (If Allow Siri When Locked is on), and that may provide alternate phone numbers (e.g. work, landline, if so entered in Contacts).

iMore did an article on this, a little over a year ago.

Thanks for answering. I found that link you sent me, but really nothing seems to work. The IMEI is blacklisted. Siri is not working. I only tried to reset the software to find the IMEI because it otherwise didn't show me absolutely anything, but asking me to restore or something. Then when I tried to restore, it said that the iPhone has been erased and I need to enter the previous ID. It was something I found necessary to do in order to have anything on the display. But yet... I can't still find the owner.

So I don't know what else to do.
