iTunes doesn't show iPod shuffle battery percentage?

I could swear that I used to see battery status / percentage for my iPod shuffle when I plug it into iTunes. However, I see nothing anymore?

Has this feature been removed recently? Or is there some way to see how much charge is on my shuffle (4th Gen) via iTunes?
