Macbook Pro bootcamp issue and my terrible experience inGenius Bar!

Dear censors/supporters!


I want to complain Apple Store IST in Nanjing, China. Next is my terrible and uncomfortable experience in Genius Bar of Apple Store IST.



Today, I went to Genius Bar to repair my Macbook Pro 2017. Your employees helped me do a MacBook Hardware exam. After he confirmed this is no hardware problems, he reinstalled a new Mac OS for me. After that, I got my MacBook Pro back and used Bootcamp to authorized Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The process met some problems with reminding me an error occurred when copying Windows File.



I called office senior Apple Support for help and attached screenshots with the issue via email. She helped my appointed a Genius Bar reserve again. The bad/terrible/uncomfortable experience happened:



When I entered into the genius bar with my question elaborated. Your employees do not recognize the words I said and the error reminder Windows provided by Mac OS. One of the manager even did not know your official site provides the Windows 10 Installing Guide. I asked them to help me temporarily backup my file, they denied. I did not admit the commitment and obligation and get the help from them.



Not helping customers solve and listening user voices are your official attitude? Not recognizing the problem committed by your employees is your official behavior? What could I see?



I want to file my complaint on your site to let more customers see my experience. I asked for an official apology from Apple Store IST, Nanjing, China!

Boot Camp Assistant IS an Apple product is. Boot Camp Assistant allows you to create a partition on your drive, and provides the required drivers for your use during Installation of Windows.


Windows is not an Apple Product, and Apple does not provide their technicians with any training for Windows. It is not at all surprising that Apple technicians do not understand Windows error messages.


The standard MacOS backup program, Time Machine, does NOT work with Windows drives. Errors that occur inside Windows are best handled by its Vendor, Microsoft.

Sorry, I did not agree with you. The error was happening when bootcamp trying to partition my Mac OS. But I have not cared about this issue right now. It just like when I failed to install an app from App Store, I should let the developers contact me and solve this problem? Ridiculous? What I want to express that is their abilities and attitues on treating my case. Maybe you think Windows is not related to Mac OS. But why providing the official guides to help users install it? Was the behavior of ignoring and proving or denying their truth described by their customers, right?


If you rewind the time, look at the rewind door, battery scandal, performance slowing. They have made many mistakes and fault.


The quanlities of Genius Bar has been decreasing with the time going on. I am not an Apple fan although I bought a lot of Apple Products. With this terrible experience, I will not buy any other Apple Products anymore.


They really reinvent the word "Genius" because they are not qualified this word!

Apple does not promise to read these forums. They never act on what is written here. The only people who read these forums are other Apple users like you. Most people who answer are Volunteers.


Your outrage with Apple is lost on readers here. If you want assistance, you will need to contact Apple technical support in some other way.
