OS Difference on AppleTV 3rd Gen Issues

I have suddenly begun to experience the inability to connect to my AppleTV 3rd Generation (Black with silver remote) Model A1416, with any of my devices (MBP, iPhone, etc.) after a recent System update to OS 10.13.4 / iOS 11.3.

Upon research, and finding nothing, I decided to check my wife's iPhone (God bless her for refusing to update her OS for several releases) I found that it worked with our AppleTV Airplay.

For those of you who are having trouble using Airplay with the newer OS/iOS with AppleTV 3rd Generation, we might be out of luck as I have not seen any fixes or solutions.

If anyone out there finds a fix, please share. Thanks!
