Recently i found iphone S6 without sim card , i tried to unlock with my sim and apple ID but did not work . it says , Activation Lock .. requesting for Apple ID and Password. Please help me to unlock.

i have approached to local police and even posted in facebook but could not contact the original owner of this phone. im trying to find his contact information if anyone can help to unlock so that i can contact with the owner.
Apple do not get involved with the location of users of lost or stolen phones.
The local police authorities are the only people to notify. If they won't take it in you should ask why. And get a receipt if they do take it.
As I said at the beginning, the phone can only be unlocked by the person who originally set up the lock.
We cannot help you. You need the original owner's help to unlock the activation feature. Otherwise the phone is useless.
Be the good guy; turn it in to your local police authority as found.
