To restore deleted messages and call history, you will need to restore a backup from iCloud or iTunes that contains the information: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support . Restoring a backup will replace everything that is currently on the iPhone with only items on the iPhone at the time the backup was created, so this means anything added to the iPhone after the last backup will be removed.
