This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple's participation here is minimal.
If you could explain what troubleshooting steps you've already taken, perhaps someone here can give you some direction.
Are you seeing the error message on your phone? Or on your car system? Have you checked with Pioneer to see if they have any firmware updates available? Have you tried restoring your phone from a back up? Restoring as new?
I have this same problem. Its an Apple problem for sure. It happened when my phone updated to the new IOS 11.3 and still hasn't been resolved after the 11.3.1 update. It really ***** too because if you want to play music you have to run the audio through the bluetooth connection. When you connect the phone directly to the USB connection to recharge it essentially shuts down the bluetooth audio and give you the error code so you cannot change and play music at the same time. I just got my stereo 2 months ago and now this BS.
Sounds like you need Pioneer to fix this.
Thanks for your quick response, I have tried changing USB and USB to Lightning cables and tried using my friends phone as well still no luck, cant think of any other troubleshooting steps can you please advise any more steps that might help
Thanks again
Error on car system, after googling found some forum where Pioneer support asked to contact Apple as its stopped working after IOS update, I have checked Pioneer website unfortunately they dont have firmware update for my model.
Havent tried restoring as I have lots of data on my phone
thanks
I have this same issue. Have you tried 11.4 yet to see if the issue has been resolved?
