I was watching a movie on my apple external DVD player and it worked fine. When I ejected it, it unmounted the disk player, but didn't eject the disk. Without thinking, I unplugged it and closed my computer. Now, when I plug in my DVD player, disk utility doesn't even see the DVD player. The player just makes what sounds like a read-head move and completely shuts off. How am I supposed to get my dvd out of this thing?

Ok, so I used a different USB C port and it ejected and read perfectly. However, I cannot do anything out of the port I used previously. I can't even use my keyboard. I'm not going to use this DVD player again because I think it broke the port.

Can you see any small hole around the dvd ? If yes then penetrate the needle there long one .. don’t be afraid just push little hard it will open
I have model A1379 and I do not see any pinhole.
