do you want the application “hasplmd” to accept incoming network connections?
I have been having this issue every time I startup my iMac 21.5" and have searched the web trying find a solution. I have run across many, however, most do not fix the issue.
My problem appears to be FIXED...finally! I am running an X-Rite i1 Profiler on my machine and it turns out that their software appears to be the source.
The X-Rite tech support walked me through the following to eliminate the "hasplmd" message at startup.
1. MacintoshHD > Library > LaunchDaemons
2. Delete the two aladdin plsts..."com.aladdin.aksusbd.plst" and "com.aladdin.hasplmd.plst"
3. Empty the trash
4. MacintoshHD > Library > ColorSync
5. Right click on "Profiles" and change all permissions to "Read & Write" at the bottom of the Profiles window.
6. MacintoshHD > Library > Application Support
7. Delete the "HASP" folder.
8. Empty the trash.
9. Reboot the machine.
Hope this helps any of you having this irritating issue. So far, it has worked for me.
