How can I reinstall internet software?

I have a Mac Mini with OS 10.9.5 and a WNDR 3300 router.

It all worked fine for quite a while untilresently and I can connect with

other devices (my MacBook, iPhone iPad) but not the Mini.....

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

I wouldn't give up entirely, if you don't mind fiddling around a little bit.


For example, if you think something system-wise has become corrupted, you could try booting into Recovery (Command + R after boot chime), and selecting "Reinstall OS X". Typically this option works to safely reinstall the OS whilst preserving you personal accounts/files/data etc.


(Of course, having a good backup before doing anything like this is always more than just a good idea...)
