How do I export my entire iCloud calendar?

I tried to export my calendar from iCloud to import into Google but data is missing. I can view items from years ago in iCloud but when I export it only goes back a couple years except for a few recurring items that go back even further. How do I export the older items as well?

Keep in kind this does work but only for the last 12-16 months of calendar data. I have items in iCloud going back for many years, and they're visible in iCloud calendar, but they are missing from the export for some reason

On your PC’s Web browser, open www.icloud.com and login to your iCloud account.

  1. Click the Calendar icon to open the Calendar interface.
  2. On the left pane, click the Share Calendarbutton beside the calendar that you want to export.
  3. User uploaded fileIn the popup balloon, tick “Public Calendar.” Copy the sharing URL that appears below it.
  4. On a new Web browser tab or window, paste the copied URL.
  5. Change
    webcal
    in the URL to
    http
and press the Enter key to open the address.
  6. Your Web browser will download a file with random characters as file name. This file is actually a copy of your iCloud Calendar entries.
  7. Save the file to a convenient folder on your computer. For convenience, you may rename the file and add the
    ics
    extension (e.g., calendar.ics).
  8. Open and login to Google Calendar on your Web browser.
  9. On the left pane of the Google Calendar interface, click the menu arrow at the right of Other Calendars.
  10. Select Import Calendar.

Numerous articles online claim it is the only way to migrate your calendar data from iCloud to google. I tried it and it only pulled a fraction of the data so I came here to ask for advice hoping someone else tried it and could offer assistance. I mean honestly, why would it share or download only part of my calendar and my oldest recurring events? Doesn’t really make sense when they are all viewable in iCloud.

They are not. I never said I found an official apple guide on the subject. Various online guides for switching from iPhone to android recommend this approach. I tried this and it doesn’t seem to work, at least not completely, so I simply thought I’d post on the apple forums to see if anyone else had tried and had success. Or even had other suggestions which would be great.

Do you have a solution or help to offer or are you just looking at give me grief for asking a question?

I wasn't giving you grief or accusing you of anything, I was just trying to ascertain if your expectations are realistic or not. If Apple doesn't claim that you can do this then your expectations aren't realistic even if others have found it to work either partial or in its entirety.

As for achieving your goal, one way I know will work is if you export your calendars on a Mac, I assume you don't have one, but you might want to see if a friend can help.
