iPhone X-accessory not supported

I use after market cables to charge my devices and up until recently, I have never had a problem with them. I started getting a message from my iPhone C saying “this accessory may not be supported” and the phone wigs out. Unplugged the cable and try the Apple cable and it’s all good. I use an aftermarket cable in my truck on the USB port and it says it’s not supported. I use an after market at my bedside and it says the same thing. When I use the Apple charger and the Apple cable, no worries, chargers like a champion. This is only started happening recently. Any ideas? Surely Apple hasn’t stopped supporting after market devices. That would be ****** if they have. Cheers
