how do i re add a fingerprint on an iphone 6

My iPhone 6 using version 11.3.1 isn’t allowing me to re add a finger scan, I reset the phone and researched through the guides provided and still haven’t seen the option available to a scan to assist with security. Can anyone help me get this problem resolved please?.

Thanks much but it didnt help because it was grayed out, i guess i’ll try calling or just take it to a phone tech hopefully i won't need an actual technition.... Do enjoy your day.
