Tibetan input Method

  1. The Wylie Tibetan input method is not efficient at all. it stacks some letters that goes against the gramma, for example, for"ལྟར", it renders as "ལྟྲ"; for "ལམ",it renders "ལྨ",there could be some cases in which one needs to get "ལྨ",but, I guess, only in some rare cases, like in typing Sanskrit. this is same for many other characters.
  2. In normal situation, the letter"ང"at the end of a sentence, it is always with"་།"together, they shouldn't be separated, but it does, they are always separated at the end and at the beginning of two lines.
  3. when I insert a letter into a word after one or more letters are deleted, it needs extra hitting to finish it. otherwise there are some grey dash there!
  4. All the problems I encountered are from the fact that the grammar rules are not strictly followed in coding and the prioritization is not made on the frequency of the usage of a word.
  5. Therefore I am wondering whether Apple can give me that part of the code which handles the rendering of the letters, I can manage to correct these mistakes to improve the efficiency of Tibetan Wylie Input method.

Do these problems occur in all Apple apps, like Mail, TextEdit, Pages, Notes, Safari?

Do you find these errors occur regardless of which Apple-supplied font you are using (Kailasa, Kokonor)?

Do any of the other Tibetan keyboards supplied by Apple (Otani, Qwerty) work correctly?

To let Apple know about the problems you have found, you can use

http://www.apple.com/feedback

This will alert them to the possible need to fix things, but I don't think they are going to respond or provide any code. Perhaps there is a 3rd party input method/font which does a better job?
