it's been a while since high sierra came out.
i'm wondering when Apple plans to update the boot camp utility (windows side) to recognize the APFS partition .... so that it shows up as a selectable startup option ....
i am referring to the diamond-shaped boot camp button i have in the windows 10 taskbar.
macOS High Sierra (10.13), 2.0 GHz/16GB/256GB
yes, this is what worked for me.
although i need to point out again that prior to writing the exe file, i had tried uninstalling boot camp drivers in windows. it did not clear out the diamond icon down in taskbar, so not sure if it was a thorough uninstall.
when i tried to do a system restore to a previous state, it seemed that windows was not able to restore.
by luck, the overwrite of the exe file seems to have resolved the issue and now macos is shown in the bootcamp startup feature when in the windows environment.

Although I couldn't see the option appear while running my bootcamp partition via Fusion, I took the risk of booting native to windows, and the option appears and functions as expected. A huge relief! Thanks!
this is what i see when i select the control panel ....
It has been updated on the iMac Pros. Check Apple Software Update for other models.
i havent seen an update yet, via apple software update in windows.

looks like it's a simple command prompt executable
It is inside the WindowsSupport.dmg files. It may be faster to do this on the macOS side.
Is there an AppleControlPanel.exe?
.6136 is almost from 2015. The base BC drivers are installed from the BC drivers packages, and all further updates come from ASU.
i would like some instructions so that I can incorporate the latest boot camp panel into my windows installation.
