Old iPad Not Accepting iCloud Password

I am trying to enter icloud on an old iPad 2 but it is not acceoting my password. It says 'Verification Failed - There was an error connecting to Apple ID Server'

The password works for me on all other devices.

Please help!

A lot of people are posting with the same error.

Do you have access to another network where you can try to log in? That has worked for several people.

What has also worked for some is trying 10 + times in a row.

Try a restart.

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device

If necessary

Hard reset
