Lack of whatapp alert

i dont recieve a sound alert when recieving a message from whatsapp when my iphone x is in locked mode

Settings>Notifications>WhatsApp... all options should be activated (green), and set banner to persistant. Then scroll down to the last option (show preview) and set it as "Always".
