Why is my IPad Pro randomly playing music?

My IPad randomly started playing music from my last music app I had been using. I deleted the app and then my Apple Music started up doing the same thing. I updated my software and that didn’t help. I did a hard restart and still didn’t help. Anyone else find a solution?? Apple??

Hello, Sattlerb.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It's my understanding that your iPad will randomly play music. You've done some great troubleshooting steps to try and resolve this. I have other suggestions that may help. Are you using any Bluetooth devices or headphones? If so, try removing those devices and see if the music will randomly play. If you don't have headphones and if possible, use a pair and see if this still occurs. Also, try removing the Music app and then downloading it again: Get Apple apps on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac

If the issue persists, let's reinstall the iOS. This can help resolve possible software issues. While iTunes will try to do this without removing data, it's a good idea to make sure you have a recent backup before trying this step.
