Selecting several photos at once to download or delete on a PC

Has anyone found a work around yet to selecting a group of photos that you might want to download or delete? I can only select one photo at a time and deleting a day's worth of shots that I no longer want takes forever. I know holding down the ctrl key does nothing. And I'm not interested in selecting "All" which seems to be the only other option to selecting "One". I've seen numerous complaints about this missing feature and wondered if anyone had found a way around it or a plug in program that would allow that action. Icloud is so poorly designed for organizing photos, I'm not sure what the advantage is to using them other than as a place to dump my photographs. I thought Apple had user interface as their credo.

Hello Siamlily,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that you would like to download your photos in iCloud more than one at at time from www.icloud.com . One option is to use the steps from the article below on how to archive your photos and download more than one at at time:

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support

On your PC, set up iCloud for Windows and turn on iCloud Photo Library.

Copy content from My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing in Windows

All photos in My Photo Stream are automatically saved to your PC, and saved photos are available even if you turn off Photos in iCloud for Windows. To save photos and videos from a shared stream, you must save them to another folder on your hard drive:

  1. Open iCloud for Windows.
  2. Click the Options button next to Photos (or Photo Stream). Note the path listed under iCloud Photos location.
  3. Open a File Explorer window (Windows 8) or Windows Explorer window (Windows 7).
  4. Go to the iCloud Photos folder using the above path. Open the Shared folder.
  5. Select the photos you want to save, then copy them to another folder on your computer. Include this folder if you back up your computer.

Best Regards.
