on my iPhone - some contacts are synced to iCloud some to Gmail so to Outlook

Hi,

On IOS 11.3 - some of my contacts synced to iCloud, some to Google some to Outlook.

Is there a way to move ALL of them to be synced with both iCloud and Gmail accounts?

Tried iCloud Contacts On/Off merge/keep - did not work. Other accounts ask to Delete from the iPhone when turned off.

Contacts sync issue Hello mac community, I have an issue with contacts not syncing to iCloud. Issue began when I switched jobs and deleted my work email. Somehow without knowing it every contact I put into my phone over the course of 6 years was linked to my work email account (both work and private contacts). When I deleted my email account my iPhone 11 Pro also deleted all these contacts. However my ipad still has them all somehow. I've tried to toggle syncing my contacts off/on from my ipad and when prompted I chose to "merge" my ipad contacts to the cloud. After a new backup those lost contacts still don't show up in my iCloud account when I search for them on the web access. Is there a way to force those contacts back into the cloud so they sync back to my phone? Thanks in advance

Migrate to iCloud contacts from Google Hi all! I have been a decades long Android user. I've moved to iOS exclusively as of the 11 Pro Max, so I've been on iOS for about a year... and loving it. So I've been migrating various things over to the Apple ecosystem (iCloud docs, calendar), but am now wondering about doing the same with my contacts. The problem is that I do plan to continue using Gmail. Is this a problem? It may not be. But if I disable Google's contacts on my phone or MacBook, will Gmail be able to pull contacts from my iCloud in order to send emails? I'm assuming if I've emailed someone before, it'll remember their address. But what if I want to send a first email to a contact that's only in my iCloud? Also, what is the best way to sync contacts from Google into iCloud? Last of all, have any of you done the same thing? Moved contacts over exclusively to iCloud?

Managing contacts Hi there. i have problem like many others. Iphone making multiple copies of contacts for same entry. Also i logged into Icloud. Deleted many contacts but now they have come back on my iphone. It’s very frustrating. how do i copy all the contacts to one of my Hotmail or gmail account and manage from there. I can then turn off icloud for contacts.

The following link has information on how to set iCloud as your default for contacts on on how to import contacts from 3rd party services into iCloud (although it will require some additional steps to first export them from the 3rd party): https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203521
