Apple Music Crashes on startup [Android]

I found a solution! Uninstall latest Google play services, to factory version. This Worked for me and ive tried ALOT of ting as I am very thorough and hate when things dont work, please give feedback if this did or didnt work.

Hi, I have the Huawei P20 with the same software versions as above and have the same issue. Only started this morning after restarting my phone. Was working fine yesterday. Have tried to restart the phone again but made no difference.

I have a Huawei P10 (android 7 and emui 5.1) and since today's morning I have been experiencing the same problem. The app won't open. It continously crashes. I have restarted my phone several times and reinstalled the app with no success... Is there a reason for this? Any solution?

I have had the same issue since this morning. (Huawei p10 plus, Android 7.0, EMUI 5.1) I have tried restarting the device, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clear all data, restore phone from backup, all without success.

Same issue here, checked the crashlogs and it seems to be a network issue, I think wo being a pro. To bad it happened right before a 5h car trip. Issued an error report to Apple, with a screenvideo to show the problem. See what they say. I tried versions 2.4.1 and 2.4.0 aswell wo success (2.4.2 is the latest official version of apple music app). Did apple make a dudu with the library network connection socket?

Huawei Mate 9 Pro wo any issues with Apple music in the past.

My Huawei P20 came with Oreo 8.1.

It used to work when I first installed Apple Music and set it up with my account, then

Apple updated the app and now it doesn't open, just closes immediately.

I tried clearing the App cache and App Data but still no.

I found a very credible solution! Uninstall latest Google play services, Android will ask you if factory version should be installed, After this it works! Seem like latest update did something rally bad for the connection socket works Apple music, please disseminate this information and tell me if this works for you.

It does work, but google play services is then not updated meaning several features of the phone don't work including Yahoo mail app, photos and others.

If you then update google play services and reboot the phone, then apple music breaks again.

Quickey fix I found - problems with "Google Play Services" goto setting, apps, google play services, storage, and clear both the cash and manage space. The open apple music and you should be good to go! 😂

I'm having the same issue (app crashing at startup) with several streaming applications (some Italian TV official streaming apps, like Dplay, RaiPlay, but also the pay tv app TIMVision), so I'm afraid the issue is more Huawei-related than Apple-related 😢

Received a system update from Huawei last night. Ran the update and now running Android version 8 EMUI 8.

Can confirm this has sorted my issue. Hopefully it will for everyone else.

Uninstalling google play service, then run the app, let it crash, then update google play service through google play store, stage 3 profit!

Hi, I have the issue from yesterday 10th of May. I have Huawei P9. Tried to uninstall and install the Apple music. No help. Issue still same.

My P10 on android 8 and EMUI 5.1 is doing it too. Obviously there's been some sort of update that is killing Huawei phones.

I also have this issue from today, Huawei P20 pro
