I have an android phone (Huawei P10 Lite, running Android 7.0, EMUI 5.1), and the app has been crashing when it starts for a while... I've rebooted my phone several times now, and the problem persists. If you need any additional info, my phone is rooted, so that might help troubleshooting better...

Same issue today 11th may 2018 on a P20 Pro, app crashes as soon as I open apple music.
Same issue on Huawei P9 lite. The Apple music app crashes in start up / launch.
Fix: Doing a factory reset on my Huawei P9 lite fixed the issue. Everything seems fine now.
I also have the same problem on my P20 (EMUI 8.1 Oreo) Very anoying since we pay for this service.
Did you notice if you ended up downgrading your Android Version?

I have spent over an hour on the phone to apple music tech support and they don't seem to have a solution at all. Seemed puzzled by it. That was Thursday evening uk time.
My Android version stayed the same after factory reset - no downgrade. Simply installed Apple music afterwards and everything works fine now.
Did a reset too but was still unable to launch the app
I can confirm, this solution has worked for me (although it's less than optimal because it disables the "Find my device feature"...)
I can confirm this works for me too. Also sorted issues with a few other apps. Restarting the phone after that and you are back with the problem though. A good temporary fix though!

Hi there ive also just.encountered this problem on my huawei p9. It keeps.crashing upon start up and I even reinstalled the app more than ten times now. No luck still. Any ideas?
