Weather complication shows overview instead of temperature

Hello,

I recently had to reset my watch because of a charging issue. Since then the weather complication shows the overview icon instead of the temperature, as it did before. Is this intentional? I think the temperature was more interesting, because it is the only thing about the current weather data that I can't see.

Best regards,

Werner.

Tip 9 is not related to what the complication shows on my watch face. It's only about how to use the weather app. The complication shows an icon from the first image in that tip, while in the past it would show a value from the last one. I think the latter is better, because when I raise my wrist I can then see the temperature. Whether it is cloudy, raining, etc. is visible by looking outside.

It may be helpful to know what watch face you are using. Certain customization options on some faces will only allow certain complications. For me the Utility Face can customize the top left to show "weather" which displays the temp, or "Weather Condition" which shows the conditions. Not all options are available for display in all area of the watch faces.

I'm using the original modular watch face with the six complications. I just found how you can make the temperature appear on it instead of the weather overview icon. You have to go to the weather app first and switch to the temperature view. If you then modify the watch face and cycle around the module with the weather complication, after one round the temperature will be used. I also tried it with the rain percentage view, but that doesn't work. You would still get the overview icon.
