I wish to wipe a disk from an old machine running 10.6.8 Key combo doesn't work. Any Ideas?

If the disk you'd like to erase isn't the one with the OS, choose Utilities from the Finder's Go menu and open the Disk Utility.

If the disk you'd like to erase is the one with the OS, insert a Mac OS X install DVD and restart with the C or Option key held down.
