My Apple TV 4K is not displaying a picture, but I know it’s working because the light blinks when I press the remote and I can hear the sound effects. Problem is I need to factory reset it, and the instructions tell you to navigate through the menus, is there another way?

You can cycle power, that's the closest to a "reset" you can do without selecting reset from an onscreen menu.
One way to cycle power is to hold down the MENU and the button that has a picture of a screen together for about ten seconds or until the light blinks off and then on.
Another way is to pull the power cable for ten seconds, then re-plug it in.
If you aren't getting a picture I would suspect the HDMI cable or the HDMI connector on the TV or Apple TV.
No, not with the 4K, you'd need to take it to an Apple store. before doing that, have you tried it with another TV and another HDMI cable.
Yes, I did. It worked with this set up as well. I just can't get a picture any more, I'm stumped.
