Bitmoji won't download (parent approval)

(This is a phone issue but, there is no community for app store issues on I phones)

I have been wanted to get the Bitmoji app for quite a while now. I have the parental controls on my phone that make it so when I want to download an app, it asks my father if I can. If he approves (which he does) he puts his fingerprint in which is supposed to send me a notification that he approved it and the app is supposed to start downloading. We have tried this numerous times yet nothing happens. When I ask for permission and he accepts, it sends me another notification to ask for permission again. We have even tried approving on the device but, that doesn't work either. It just says that his apple id is incorrect. You may be thinking that there may just be an issue with the apple id. Nope. Whenever he approves any other apps, there is no issue. I get the notification and the app is downloading. I just don't understand why this one app won't download.
