Is there a workaround for using classroom on an iPad 2?

We have a batch of 22 iPad 2's in our school. We just got 10 new iPads. I would like to manage them all using an MDM and Apple Classroom. Is there a workaround for the iPad 2's that will enable me to use Classroom with them ?

Classroom for iPad 2 is not supported.
