Why are my messages displaying out of order

My text messages are displaying out of order. The common solutions for this are: turning auto time off and on again. Turning imessage off and on again. turning my phone off and on again. Closing the text app and reopening. Force restatying the phone. Resetting the phone. And finally updating your ios.

I have tried all of these to no avail. I do not want to factory reset as that is annoy for something that should be a simple fix.

Messages out of order with the same date and time shown. I have an iPhone which started bugging when I changed from Huawei to iPhone again. My messages was out of order once i transfered data. Newer messages came on top and the timestamp was correct from there so I was just fine with the old messages not being correct. But after the last update my messages show yet again the same timestamp which updates daily and show the same time. New messages also falls randomly in my inbox and there is no logical order whatsoever. Once I open an old message it gets on top and after I close the messages app it falls in a random place again. I've done all the "quick fixes" I could find, including turning off and on automatically date, resetting settings, factory reset phone, change simcard etc. Anyone know what I can do about this?

IPhone 8 on 12.1.4 is putting messages in random order after each reboot Everytime I reboot my phone all my messages get the reboot time as the received time, so they are all in messed up order, if I open up a message it goes to the top. I have tried disable enable IMessage Tried enable disable date/time automatic The phone was bought used, then used the android app to port data when setting the device up

My text messages are still appearing out of order. When is this going to be fixed? my text messages are out of order and have been missing some cause they appear BEFORE the message I sent.
